have you ever had a period in your life where you stare at one of the most disgusting creation by mother nature and you suddenly feel so weak. well i just did. ok frankly speaking i am not the timid kind of guy or the kind who is overly brave. i guess about average. some people are scared of cockroaches, lizards, frogs...anything. encounters with these animals can happen at any time any place anywhere. you dont have a choice. it is often situations when its you versus the monster. no other people, no moral boost wadsoeva. its a one on one fight. ok but you of course are at an advantage( you have stuff like insect sprays, heavy books, a slipper, lighter+ deo(huan hock) ). i know it sounds stupid but ask your self frankly, can you kill it within a minute.
i had a battle with a cockroache on my computer desk and i tell you somehow i feel like a weakling. it suddenly crawled onto my desk. while i was surfing the net. it startled me as i wasnt expecting such a surprising entrance by the roach. i moved back and just stared back. my first instinct was to smash it. but when i turn away for a moment to check my 'arsenal of weapons', it was gone. and damn! hell would i wanat a roach near my desk. i looked for a can of insect spray and looked for it. i looked for 3 minutes and realized that such an action was fruitless. i thought in my mind where it might have went. i pointed the spray's nozzle at those places and sprayed it like mad. sure enough a roach came out. lesson 1 keeping calm and doing some critical thinking helps. it stared at me and i saw its huge mandibles moving in a inter-locking fashion. damn that looked so gross. of cos instincts kicked in and i 'gunned' it down with my spray. it scuttled away under my desk, a hard place to reach. it was suppouse to die. i waited and waited but it just stayed there flipped on its back. all it did was shake its legs about. that stopped me from using my computer for 30 mins. i just couldnt kill it. and i hell would i know why. i was going to smack it with my slipper but i jsut stoned there. you ever had that kind of feeling? its way too weird. so it took me awhile to rethink everything and i asked my self...are you man or mouse? well that proved to be a good question and so i smacked it. of course its guts arent pretty. after all that time it was shaking its leggs, i couldnt get it out of my mind. it was so bad that when i use a tissue and tried to pick it up, my hand was shaking for the fear that it might suddenly jump out. it did not seem like a feat for anyone but it was for me to hold it there and dump it into the bin. i never had such a problem and had been known to pick up lizards for the fun of it. but somehow i just lost to a roach.

lucky shot
yesterday we were suppoused to be all geared up playing for the raffles league. however the weather did not approve of our plans and deemed the matches post-poned. so today we had to play one extra match. or so we thought. it was to our disadvantage. our best players were off for competitions and others were all lazy sleeping at home or gaming...and yes i am talking about you wilson. we had one player short for the match but that didnt stop us from trying not to let in too many goals. we fought hard but pls dun expect to see presentable results. it was quite impossible given the fact that we were such a weak team. but nonetheless everyone pulled through and showed much team spirit and sportsmanship. the first match was to start at 1.10 and we were playing against 3b. i must admit that although their indian foreign scholar was some violent player, he was good. ok fine average if not for his pushing. after talking about that guy of cos you know who scored... yes he scored in the first half. i wasnt in my top form then. after all i have abandon soccer for more than 3 months. i were to play like my previous self we might have had a greater chance.
ok but too bad for 3b we were not prepared for a defeat. in the second half we got a indirect free kick. daniel took the free kick and gave us the equalising goal. there goes for their victory. it was now a draw. having bringing the match to a draw, we pushed back into a tight defense and did some time wasting until the match was over. i not really a pure emoing type. not the kind who cuts his hand, throw temper, get all violent. i just sat in the corner thinking about how badly i played. after emoing for 15 minutes, i went off to play soccer awhile more before our next match.
it was against 3q. 3q was an average class. my friend was in it and some how it was a disadvantage for both sides. and yet again we conceded the first goal. it was the dumbest goal i have ever seen. our defender trapped the ball in front of the goal and jsut stoned there. the opposing striker of cos took the opportunity to make a quick goal. he casually bumbed into the defender and rammed the ball into the goal. dotz even yuho had no time to react. ok here comes the dumb part. after the emoing i somehow played much better than the previous match. i wasnt everywhere defending but i was sticking around my turf. no one got through for that few sweet minutes. we managed to push into the opposing half of the field. we pulled off a throw in and i was to take the throw. ok here it starts. i was about to throw and when i heard my friend trying to trick me into tossing the ball to him, i instinctively passed him the ball. he controlled the ball and was passing to his teammate when i realized my mistake. i intercepted and move towards the goal. i believe i was about30-40Ms from the goal. around midfield. i took a random shot at the goal. and i actually though it would go in at first. it curled up and bounce on the turf. i thought that that was it . but then the ball kept bouncing and bounced between the keepers 'embrace' and went into the goal. still bouncing away... ok nothing to be proud of since its just fluke. sometimes miracles do happen dont they?
ya...its very true. in fact the miracle actually did not happen to us but to them... they scored another goal in the second half of the match. as the saying goes, bad things happen in threes. ok... i guess this needs no further elaboration. lols we conceded 4=1. it was just too bad since our keeper lost his form. he used to be good. damn good i must say. unfortunately his hands failed him today but i dont think it will happen again. but the again bad things happen in threes...

not much time
i cant say the past few days have been so hectic that i cannot blogg... been reading more papers and i think its good in a way that i am not as lazy as last year. ok actually i hope i am not as lazy. this is because i have not been scoring well in my first term so i have to prepare myself for a big comeback. hopefully i can pull up my grades if not GG... did any one read the article last sunday? about the guy with the 3 rows of teflon beads. ok in a way its kinda sick. ok some good questions to ask before u want to go for such procedues. after you have implanted in the beads. and you press them will it hurt? i mean like its as though there is some weird object in your body and everyday u wake up feeling as though some body has gotten under your skin. another question. what will happen if you have an injury on your hand. where the beads are....OWWWwww. its so going to hurt. will the beads like fall out? ok its kinda stupid to ask these kind of questions cos there is no one who is going to answer.
anyway going on to what happen today. we had a day off cos its SPORTS DAY!!! frankly speaking on previous years i seriously hate this day. why u may ask. its because my house's standing has always been last. but haha this year we made a comback and now bUCKELY IS 2ND!!! Great job bucklians. we had this screwed up chear and goes like this. we will we will buck you buck you. ok do me a favor. shout it our loud as loud as you can. what do you hear? your voice slowly distorts and you go hearing we will we will f**k you f**k you. and what the f**k is that all about man... its like some of the seniors started shouting out vulgarities. ok arhmmm...(me included but not as vigorous...) lols. but whatever i just felt that was a dumb cheer. and for the first time of 3 years in RI i am finally proud of wearing the buckley house t-shirt. its not that i dun like my house. i am proud of my house's fighting spirit and such but its just that somehow when u have been down and out you dun wan others knowing who you are, where you are from... Sooooo LONG LIVE BUCKLEY!!!!

slow boring day
its a slow boring day. after all its good friday but since its a holiday i really cant think of anything to do and thus i am hopelessly bored. woke up late at about 12pm cos i was still ulti tired from the past week of staying up till 12 am everyday. not a very healthy practice is it? actually planned to go out with friends and eat lunch and go buy pc game but my dad was fuming at me for turning on the comp first thing in the morning. there goes my outdoor adventure. lols. so to pass time i downloaded cabalsea to try it out and i must say it worst then silkroad. the leveling process is painfully slow and the skills take a hell lot of time to master. the server also crashed on me once today. grrrr..... the only good thing is that its a local server so i can enter anytime of the day whereas for silkroad its a global server and i can only login in the afternoon as in the night all the europeans are playing so i cant login TT. but in the end i got hooked on trying my best to change into a new set of armour and i tell you i took 4 hours but i am no where closer. god dam iT!!!!!!! well so far there are only 3 different main maps for cabal. that is very little for this kind of games. plus the 3 are connected through a mini map called a warp center. for silkraod there are like 10 maps? all inter-linked. no warp points. so its one ulti big map that takes a day to travel from one end to the other. well cant say cabal is bad cos it at least let me relax cos i cant login to silkroad at the moment. but haha i got my psp back so i will be spamming the buttons of my psp. today's episode of d.gray-man was a blast. allen actually managed to place a mark on the earl. but hey wadeva....i read the comics so i know whats gonna happen... lols... too lazy to start my homework so the workload is piling up. and yar ri community day came up in the papers and MARCUS NG AIK WEI u r in the center of the pic. SO LUCKY>.........== its late and i need my sleep so ya...nitez

RI community day---cip in another way
when u give something out one day you will get it back---
Today is the day. where we give back to the society in our own special way. in order to prepare for this day, we had to raise much funds inorder to better help the VWOs whom we were working hand in hand with. this year it was heart warming to know that we have raise a total of $55000. and man....thats a hell lot of money. but of course we were not helping only one VWO. the school was split up into the various CCA groups. each group had their own plans on who they wanted to work with. so i believe that in this way we would be able to reach out to more people in the society who need our help. this year the guest of honour who came to grace the opening ceremony was a rear admiral in the navy. i forgot which rank was that but it sounded like it was on of the highest ranks. any way he gave a hell of a lengthy speech.
ha the point was i got a feeling that all my classmates would have laughed till they dropped when they heard the speech. and why exactly? the guest of hounor was zao xiaing like siao. every sentence he had at least one word which caused his reading pitch to go off. so its like every sentence u would here a squeak acompanying his speech. the man was also the president of the national social services and some other VWO. cant remember which 0.0 =x. he is like 60+ liao and yet he has so many commiments to the society. its something worthy of respect as he was an ex-rafflesian too.
my cca was swimming and we were going to help out with the VWO lions befriender somethin something.... =x cant remeber again. plox. well if you were wondering if we were working for some animal protection thingy you are WRONG!!! its the most unexpected cause we were working for. we were working with the elderly folks. we planned a whole array of activities hoping to give them a day to remember. we played mahjong, black jack any many more games. haha i am better in mahjong than like nearly half of them except for two old man who were like ulti pro. SUNju dam lucky he first time play and he actually won... haha gratz sunju.
well at the end of the day they had a fun time and all of us enjoyed the activities. it was heart warming to know that we have touched the hearts of more than 50 elderly. somehow its like i have left something precious there and taken something else back with me. it was a fun day but when i reached home i fell asleep and woke up at 6pm HAHAAH....dotz

omg this is my first blog post and i am alrdy so bored when i haven even started! oh shit i seriously need to discipline myself. dam tired cause today was a hectic day. woke up at 6.15 and that is so dam late. thats the latest so far and i was nearly late for my meeting witha friend i go to school with.
wang was complaining the whole time abt his lit stuff. i mean like duh of cos u have so much work after all u r in lit RA. went to school and for the first time at 7.05 am so many people alrdy lined up for morning assembly. so weird. lol.
math lesson was dam nice. the class was finally quiet during maths. ha the maths teacher break voice like dam hell lot of times.
ss teacher nvr come and we had free period today...YAY!!!^^ but i wasted that precious time period away. ]
HAHA PE was another stupid period where we all can laugh at ROMi break voice like siao and he tot we were laughing at his darn jokes.
MT. the new chinese teacher dam enthu. i come in on time but in PE attire then she screw me up side down. plus i just learnt something new abt this teacher. HER maths bloody sucks she need some hardcore maths tution. no offence but she need go learn primary school maths. she was forming us into groups and keeping tags on our score. when u speak english in class she will deduct 2 marks. my group earned 2 marks from a question and when we accidently speak in english she added a dash infront of the 2 she added before. so that means its -4 not -2 anymore. she dun wanna admit and keep insisting on her view. lols . she screwed up like another 2 more times after that.
haha today pon assembly go watch tennis finals. haha JS dam horny sia. we go there not support classmate but go there spy on any chio bu. then we stand there keep commenting on all the girls we see then discuss like some fanatics. ok at surface level discussion. strictly no sexual content. it was one of the best moments so far this year. YAY we won tennis and i walked 2km with js to kallang mrt station so that we can take mrt home. dam siao sia. when we going past orchard got 2 lesbians board the train and started getting intimate with each other. hugging, kissing, groping SO WTFWTFWTF. i must admit 1 of them was dam chio. what a waste. oops ok thats not the point. i ahve nothing against them but Y THE FK they have to kiss in public. maybe no one looking ok la but the WHOLE CABIN of people all staring.
was late for training. kana splash water by angel. sian she whole day splash water and cant stop laughing like siao. lols haha swim half way then laugh. laugh liao then swim. so guai. devil came but not evil. angel keep bullying devil. geneive went home early. bbg join us for swimming after his swimknight training. then after that we all walked home together. LALALA what a hectic day
